WOWSER! We have a huge hit this summer! I made a quadruple batch of my Honey Sriracha Orange Barbeque Marinade, Glaze & Sauce earlier this week, and my family has absolutely devoured this! It is gone...all gone! I usually make my barbeque glazes and sauces in double batches for summer grilling, but this new treat has taken on a life of its own and they are craving and eating it like CRAZY!
For three days in a row, they have enjoyed the most delicious glazed chicken ever - we've had it roasted, we've had it grilled, we've had it ka-bobbed, rolled into sandwich wraps, and sliced and put on top of fresh garden salads. To say that it is to die for is a huge understatement!

Welcome to paradise! These Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs are out-of-this-world wonderful – so easy to make, and crazy juicy and exploding with a sweet and tangy Hawaiian barbecue flavor in each mouthwatering bite.
These kabobs are threaded with tender chicken, caramelized pineapple, colorful bell peppers and red onions, and slathered with a crazy good pineapple-infused barbecue sauce for a flavorful dinner – perfect for entertaining! Because summer is never long enough, I’ve included instructions for both grilling and baking so you can enjoy these Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs year-round. Time to share the recipe for Mama V's signature Hawaiian Burgers! As much as my family loves a good old-fashioned cheeseburger hot and fresh from the grill, with all the fixings, this burger combination is absolute perfection!
The first time I made these, I asked the kids and hubby to just trust me. The reward is a fabulous stack of sautéed red bell pepper slices, sweet Maui onions, grilled caramelized pineapple slices, all layered on top of a juicy beef burger that is topped by a sweet Hawaiian barbeque sauce and melty provolone cheese. I slather the sweet Hawaiian hamburger buns with a special little sauce that really ramps up the WOW factor. There's nothing better than a S'More when you're sitting around a campfire, but for National S'More Day, there's nothing better than a S'More Cookie Bar in your hand! One of our favorite things to do when camping is make S'Mores. Before the campfire season rolls around, S'More Cookie Bars will remind you of magical moments around a campfire. These soft and chewy graham cracker cookie bars are swirled with melted milk chocolate and soft and gooey marshmallow goodness - what's not to love?
My kiddos were hesitant only for a moment - and then declared that these are BETTER THAN S'MORES! High praise indeed, from a group of kids that grew up making S'Mores in the warm glow of a campfire with girls scouts, boy scouts, family and friends. In the summer and fall there aren't too many weekends that we don't have a campfire somewhere and someone is scampering off to find graham crackers, chocolate bars and fresh marshmallows. I think there were even a few tears when the plate was empty....I have an idea that we will be making more of these real soon! Now that the end of summer is heading our way and we’re visiting our favorite vineyards, it’s the perfect time for a Vineyard Charcuterie Board – easily customized with cheese, meats, fruits, and always some sweets and treats! It’s so easy to pack in a picnic basket and bring along to your favorite wineries – don’t forget a corkscrew and wine glasses! There’s no better way to enjoy a beautiful day outside than with a wine country picnic!
Nothing is more refreshing on a warm day than a tall, icy glass of homemade lemonade - but for a sweet surprise, make that a sparkling glass of Fresh Blueberry Lemonade! Summer's most refreshing beverage gets a simple and sweet makeover with blueberries – perfect for summertime sipping
Razzleberry Jam is truly a thing! You may know it as Raspberry Rhubarb Jam, but just one taste and you’ll know why we call this “Razzleberry Jam” at our house – the tart tender rhubarb and sweet raspberry explode with fruit flavor and razzle your tongue with every bite!! There is nothing better on a nice sunny summer morning than warm golden toast, buttermilk pancakes or French toast drizzled with butter and fresh Rhubarb Raspberry Jam!
There are times when a cookie is almost too pretty to eat – but be brave and take a bite! Hydrangea Sugar Cookies not only are spellbindingly beautiful, but they are rich in chocolate flavor and incredibly soft. Flooded with a mossy green Royal Icing and decorated with beautiful hydrangea blooms, these special cookies are perfect for Mother’s Day, bridal showers, weddings, or for any hydrangea lover in your life!
For my daughter's wedding, these were the first cookies to disappear from the Wedding Cookie Table! How do you make the ultimate cornbread even better? Two summertime favorites - fresh blueberries and corn fresh from the field – is a match made in heaven! Sweet juicy blueberries and fresh summer corn kernels, combined with tangy buttermilk, creamy butter and brown sugar create a super-moist rustic cornbread loaded with flavor – the most delicious cornbread ever!
