Sweet Whipped Cream Frosting is my frosting of choice for smash cakes, and the recipe I’ve used for all of my kiddo’s first birthday cakes. We really limited their sugar intake before their first birthday, so this delightfully creamy whipped cream cake frosting was their first taste of sweet bliss! This stabilized whipped cream and cream cheese frosting glides on Traditional Angel Food Cake, and pipes like a dream, and its light and fluffy texture makes for great “Smash Cake” photos!
People always want to know what kind of frosting this is, because it has more body that a whipped cream frosting, and doesn’t look like a cream cheese frosting . It looks like buttercream when you pipe it, but has a light sweet taste - not super sweet like buttercream. It's light and fluffy, silky and creamy, and one of our favorites! And the best part is you can change up the color and flavor so easily!
Cotton Candy Sugar Cookies are perfect for baby showers, gender reveals and birthday parties - they are almost too cute to eat! Cotton Candy artisan flavor adds just the right touch to tender Vanilla Sugar Cookies, which are incredibly thick and soft. Paired with easy Royal Icing with a hint of Cotton Candy flavor as well, they are the perfect sugar cookies for celebrating everything pink and blue!
These Cotton Candy Sugar Cookies decorated for a "New Baby Joining the Pack" surprise party may be my favorite custom cookies ever! Pink or Blue? He or She? These are perfect not only for a gender reveal, but also for a baby shower or Puppy Dog Pal birthday party for a special little one that loves all things puppy! Whether you're Team Pink or Team Blue, these Frogs & Snails and Puppy Dog Tails themed cookies were so much fun to bake and decorate! Baby Snyder, we woof you and welcome you to the family!
I'm obsessed with brownies, and Gourmet Magic Brownie Bars are no exception! Similar to the Seven Layer Bars you may remember from your childhood, these rich, fudgy, chewy and dark chocolate brownies are topped with all of your Seven Layer Bar favorites - a brownie lover's dream come true! They may look familiar, but taste so different with the fudgy brownie base rather than the traditional graham cracker crust. Incredibly rich and decadent, these are one of our top five favorite brownies.
If you ever need something wonderful to bring to a potluck or share with a neighbor, this is the one to make! I may need to re-name them the "Incredible Disappearing Gourmet Magic Brownie Bars" - everyone goes CRAZY for these!
Sláinte! Today it's all about the green! We LOVE to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, and with so many favorite recipes, it's a tradition that we enjoy all month long!
Planning a St. Patrick's Day party is so easy and fun with these family-favorite recipes. Tried and true favorites, and a few new ones thrown in too! We have so many favorites - it's hard to pick just a few! Good thing we've got a long month to enjoy them all!
For St. Patrick’s Day, there’s nothing more fun that Chocolate Mint Sugar Cookies! Tender sugar cookies are rich in chocolate and mint flavor and incredibly soft – and filled with tiny flecks of Andes Creme de Menthe Chocolate Mint Baking Chips melt in your mouth! Cut into fun shamrocks, rainbows and pots of gold, I have it on good authority that these are a favorite of leprechauns everywhere!
Festive Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake is everything we love about chocolate chip cookies, but in cookie cake form! Soft and rich in the center, chewy on the edges, studded with chocolate chips, and decorated with either Chocolate Buttercream or Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting, this gourmet recipe is better than anything you can pick up from a bakery!
This fun dessert comes together quickly, and you can skip the cookie dough chilling. Add lots of festive sprinkles and you’re ready to party!
Chocolate and Peanut Butter lovers rejoice! If you love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, you are going to go crazy for these Gourmet Peanut Butter Cup Brownies! Made with my favorite homemade fudgy brownie recipe, these are stuffed with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and topped with a chocolate and peanut butter peanut butter drizzle and a sweet miniature peanut butter cup. There’s a reason that the majority of people rank Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as their favorite candy, and these brownies take that combination to the next level!
Although the base of this recipe is really simple, these easily pass as the best “bakery bought” gourmet brownies. They are super rich, fudgy, and just a little bit chewy. They’re also packed with peanut butter cups, drizzled with a silky Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle, and topped with sweet little peanut butter cups – the brownie of your dreams!
I'm obsessed with brownies, and Gourmet Salted Caramel Brownies are no exception! These rich, fudgy, chewy, buttery caramel and dark chocolate brownies are stuffed with sea salt caramel and then drizzled with homemade Salted Caramel Sauce - absolute brownie perfection, and truly a caramel and brownie lover's dream come true!
I've been making and sharing my Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Stuffed Brownies for years, and this version elevates those to "gourmet" status. I think you'll agree!
If you love German Chocolate Cake, you are going to LOVE Gourmet German Chocolate Brownies! Rich, ultra-fudgy, topped with the best coconut and pecan frosting and drizzled with dark chocolate, these are sinfully delicious and unapologetically decadent and indulgent!
For our Galentine's Valentine gathering this year, we celebrated with an appetizer party - and my contribution was a Gourmet Brownie Board. Filled with fresh homemade gourmet brownies, with dark chocolate, peanut butter, sea salt caramels, and chocolate truffles, together with fresh sweet raspberries and strawberries, everyone was happy!
it was a wonderful evening spent sharing memories and discussing upcoming wedding plans - so much fun! I am so incredibly blessed to be able to spend a fun evening with my five daughters! And with two new granddaughters, our celebration will only get better each year!
