6 slices thick cut bacon (peppered or applewood smoked) 3 cups smoked ham or brisket (or combination of both, chopped) 1 large yellow onion (diced) 2 28-ounce cans baked beans (hickory & maple flavor) SAUCE INGREDIENTS: 1-1/2 cups barbecue sauce ½ cup ketchup ½ cup dark brown sugar ¼ cup prepared mustard (or Dijon mustard) ¼ cup maple syrup ¼ cup molasses ¼ cup apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon barbecue seasoning or rub 1-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder HOW I MAKE THESE:
