CRAZY EASY, CRAZY GOOD! It doesn't get much easier than this, and to tell you the truth, I may never go back to the old-fashioned way of making Italian Lasagna!
Tender noodles cook directly in a hearty Italian meat sauce. Fresh parmesan, mozzarella and creamy ricotta cheese are swirled together in a single skillet in less than 20 minutes...and you'll be enjoying the best lasagna dinner before you know it!
And whether you use your favorite homemade Italian pasta sauce or a couple of jars of your favorite pasta sauce from the store, this will be your new favorite lasagna recipe!
This is a perfect dinner to cook up on a busy weekend. The only thing left to do is enjoy some of this delicious Skillet Lasagna!
And believe me, everyone will be fighting over the leftovers tomorrow!
2 tablespoons olive oil
1-1/2 lbs ground lean beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried or 1 teaspoon fresh oregano (crushed)
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 jars (24 oz. each) pasta sauce (homemade or your favorite)
1 cup water
12 lasagna noodles, broken into 2-inch pieces
3 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
Fresh parsley (garnish)
