We love long, lazy holiday weekends, and we love grilling and relaxing on the deck or at the cabin. With everyone getting used to a new school schedule and family time always at a premium, Labor Day weekend has always been a family favorite. Luckily there is still fresh salmon being flown in every day from Alaska, so it's the perfect time to make one of our favorite grilled salmon recipes! A creamy grilling sauce is so very easy to make at home. A simple recipe filled with fresh herbs, Dijon mustard and mayo results in in an unbelievably moist, buttery salmon, just loaded with fresh flavor. Step 1. Start with the freshest salmon sides or fillets that you can find! Rinse them off and run your finger up the middle to remove any small bones. Pat dry, and sprinkle with your favorite seafood seasoning mix. Step 2. Stir up mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, fresh herbs, lemon juice and grated parmesan cheese until well blended. Step 3. Dollop the sauce evenly on top of your salmon fillets. You can also use this fresh Grilling Sauce on other fish - it's also fabulous on fresh perch, halibut, tilapia or your favorite white fish. Step 4 - Spread the Grilling Sauce evenly over the top of your fish, and sprinkle with fresh dill. Step 5. Cover your grill or smoker and cook until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. On a regular gas grill, it will be take about 8-12 minutes. With a smoker, your fish will cook slower and will take about 25 minutes. How easy was that? Once you try cooking fresh salmon with this creamy herbed sauce, you'll agree that it is FABULOUS! And so much better than anything you will ever find in a restaurant. Enjoy these last days of summer!

Spread a thin layer of apple pie filling over the rolled-out dough; sprinkle with cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg and roll.
