 Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce Everyone goes crazy when I make and serve Apple Cider Pulled Pork with Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce – and it’s even better piled high on a sandwich bun with crunchy Apple Barbecue Coleslaw! Perfect for crisp autumn days and football parties! Who knew that two simple and flavorful sauces create such magic when you stir them together? Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce is also magical on ribs, grilled chicken or burgers, sauced up roast beef, and smoked brisket.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Barbecue Sauce (homemade or Sweet Baby Ray) 1 cup Apple Butter HOW I MAKE THIS: 1. In a small saucepan, combine the Apple Butter and Barbecue Sauce. 2. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a simmer; cover and reduce heat to low, cook for 15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat and serve warm, or bring to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.
