 I've lost track of how many times I've made this Strawberry Poppyseed Salad and the number of times that people have told me "This tastes JUST LIKE the Panera Strawberry Poppyseed Salad - ONLY BETTER!" And I get so many requests for this recipe that it's time to post it again! It may be the homemade fresh Poppyseed Dressing, or maybe it's the Maple Glazed Pecans. It could be that it is fresh, or maybe that you don't have to wait in a line to order it and pay big bucks for a little salad! With five daughters, we love us some fresh salad, and this is one of our favorites! And anytime that I can make something healthy and so dang delicious? That's a win-win for me too!   Strawberry Poppyseed Salad (Panera Copycat) You can easily make this a dinner all by itself by adding fresh chicken breast, or torn-up rotisserie chicken - warm from the grill! Throw on some fresh sweet strawberries and juicy blueberries, and even some mandarin oranges if you feel the urge. It's all good! My salad dressing has a yogurt base, and it really adds a creamy texture and really nice flavor to this. And topped with homemade Maple Glazed Pecans? What's not to love? Give it a gentle toss...  Strawberry Poppy Seed Salad with Chicken & Maple Glazed Pecans It's also a great salad to bring to summertime potlucks. You can have the torn romaine and fresh berries chilling, and simply add the feta cheese, pecans and drizzle with chilled Poppyseed Dressing right before serving. It really is a crowd-pleaser!
