Salted Caramel Sauce (Caramel Silk in a Jar)

Salted Caramel Sauce....Caramel Silk In a Jar...call it whatever you want, but is there anything better? There is nothing like the smooth combination of sweet and salty that will never go out of style.

This is so incredibly easy to make, and so much better than anything you buy ready-made in a jar. Happiness is having a few of these on hand for caramel emergencies - or treats! In less than 20 minutes, you will have smooth, creamy, rich salted caramel sauce.

Salted Caramel Sauce

This is perfect drizzled over brownies or ice cream, or a warm piece of apple pie, or apple slices....the possibilities are endless! Drizzle over a cheesecake, a golden poundcake, or swirl into fudgy brownies. You can also whip into buttercream frosting and create a new taste sensation.

And if you are in a pinch, you can always dip your finger and indulge!

This will keep for several weeks in the fridge - if it lasts that long! This also makes a wonderful gift in a pretty jar - add another jar of homemade fudge and you will be gold!
