Yes, this is EXACTLY the same recipe as my Tomato & Rhubarb Savory Sauce - but it really does deserve its own recipe and recognition! And I really didn't want it to get lost in food blog heaven...
For those of you that like the tangy sweetness of Rhubarb Jam, you can only imagine how that same sweet tang adds a whole other dimension to plain old tomato ketchup.
We love this incredibly thick and flavorful sauce on lots of things - I'll be sharing more of those recipes later. But in the meantime, you'll want to get a batch of this cooking as fast as you can!
Even my INCREDIBLY picky eaters love this on seasoned French fries and tater tots! I had to laugh, because they were so prepared to hate this stuff, but I think we refilled the bowl three times as soon as they actually tried it!
Now I'm starting to think about all of the other wonderful things we can use this for! Call it ketchup, call it chutney, call it whatever you want - but you will LOVE it!
