These are another family favorite treat! With Super Bowl being celebrated soon, it's always fun to bring something different to the party, and these are always a hit - with a surprise ingredient that blows everyone's minds! If you are a fan of peanut butter, or chocolate, or potato chips, or Frito corn chips... yup! You read that right! A fabulous combination of sweet and salty make this the perfect sweet snack and they are seriously addictive! Both the potato chips and Frito corn chips are crushed in your food processor until fine, and then mixed with a smooth and creamy peanut butter truffle center. These taste very much like Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups, only better! Because we have dark chocolate lovers and milk chocolate lovers, I usually dip part of the truffles in smooth milk chocolate, and the remainder in decadent dark chocolate. Sprinkle with additional crushed Fritos, or your favorite colorful sprinkles!
If you have a few minutes to spare, these can also be shaped into cute football shapes, and a little bit of white decorator frosting piped on top to resemble footballs. Of course, if baseball is more your sport, dip these in white chocolate and decorate with red semi-circles for cute little baseballs.
