I made this in my 10-inch cast iron skillet, but you could make this in a baking pan as well - just prepare the syrup on your stovetop and pour into a prepared pan before layering the fresh peach slices all around... The thick topping and peaches caramelize and the buttery sweet goodness just melts down all over the cake - golden peach perfection! And I know that this recipe is both family and bee-approved! I had a lot of bee company while I was trying to take photos of this! But only for a short period - this cake disappeared almost IMMEDIATELY! Hope that you enjoy as much as my family did!
