Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes with Milk Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Everyone needs a go-to recipe for a wonderful dark chocolate cupcake - and this one is by far the most wonderful! Tender, moist, full of flavor and texture - absolutely homemade!

And what chocolate cupcake doesn't want to be topped with a light and creamy milk chocolate buttercream frosting?

This is the basic recipe that you will go back to, over and over again!

You can also go a bit crazy and top with sprinkles, but in the middle of summer, I like to serve these straight and simple....simple perfection!

Although bold and strong coffee is a secret ingredient, it adds depth of flavor, and not too much coffee flavor - a very nice offset to the deep, dark and bittersweet chocolate.

Perfect for birthday parties, perfect for after school treats, perfect for sharing! I think you'll agree that these are perfectly wonderful!
