We love how easy homemade granola is to make - and it is sooooo much better than anything you can buy at the store! The maple flavor is delicate, and the granola and pecans are perfectly chewy and have a nice crunch. My Maple Almond Granola is always a big hit, but sometimes I like to switch out the almonds with pecans! This is also wonderful crumbled on top of apple crisp or a fresh scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It takes about five minutes to have a batch of this on the pan and into the oven...a few quick turns in a warm oven, and you've got fresh, delicious maple-laced granola just waiting to be mixed with some icy cold milk and fresh berries, or stacked into a parfait glass with fresh yogurt and fresh fruit - whatever happens to be in season! Raspberry and pecans though....they are a perfect combination, and taste good all by themselves! It's nice to have a selection of fresh granola on hand when company comes. These are also perfect to pack for camping or backpacking trips. Hope you enjoy our Granola shelf as much as we do!
