These chewy, gooey bars are always requested as a "final meal" before braces go on, and as a "welcome back" after the braces come off!
These delicious treats can also be customized a lot of different ways! You can use half granulated sugar and half light brown sugar for a slightly chewier bar; you can also substitute Special K cereal in place of the Rice Krispies. I sometimes use peanut butter & milk chocolate chips in place of the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the frosting. For another twist, replace the peanut butter in the frosting with Nutella.
