I have such fond memories of cold winter nights and warm simple suppers growing up! If we were lucky enough to have snow, after an afternoon or starry evening of sledding or ice skating on the pond at the end of our block, we'd rush home for some homemade Hot Cocoa with marshmallows, and plates of warm Honey & Cornbread Waffles, drizzled with warm maple syrup or honey. And if there was leftover sliced ham to go along with it? Even better! These tender and delicious waffles are so simple and delicious! Good enough to enjoy all by itself with just butter, melting down into each little crevice! If you happen to have any leftovers, these freeze really well to - simply place them in a ziplock bag and pop in the toaster the next time you want a perfect Honey Cornbread Waffle!
