As soon as I made this bread, I was completely and hopelessly in love! This takes a bit of time to make, because you are grating three different types of cheese by hand, but it is so worth it! There are a number of "interesting" ingredients - but the combination creates a deep and complex flavor. This bread is so flavorful and moist, and so cheesy, with the perfect blend of herbs speckled throughout. The tomato juice and Worcestershire sauce are slightly odd for a bread, but this is just so incredibly flavorful - people will be scratching their heads trying to figure out EXACTLY what makes this so fabulous! Luckily, this recipe makes two loaves, which when warm from the oven and slathered with fresh butter, will be gone in a flash! This is perfect with a hearty bowl of stew or chili during a Football Party, but I think this is also wonderful for St. Patrick Day celebrations - much more hearty and flavorful that your typical Irish soda bread. And after your St. Paddy's Day celebrations, this is also a great recipe to use up any leftover Irish beer that you may have lying around. Every time that I make this it just disappears - MAGIC!
