What is the craziest appetizer combination you've ever tried? With football season just starting to kick-off, I've got another winner for you to try this year. And who doesn't love fried queso with something wonderful to dip it in? Usually it's a fire-roasted salsa, but you're in for a surprise!
Ooey gooey queso cheese with a touch of spice and sweet...all you'll need is an icy margarita or tall cold beer!
I made fresh Wild Blueberry & Lime Jam yesterday, and today it's all about pairing it with something delicious! If you need an appetizer that you can throw together in just a matter of minutes, this one is calling your name!
Simply cut the queso into thick triangle wedges, dip in a beaten egg, and dredge in a surprisingly seasoned flour mixture. A minute or two in a hot fry pan, and these are good to go. Make sure to cook them up in small batches - don't crowd them too much in your pan.
And your taste buds won't be feeling to bad...this little treat is CRAZY GOOD! Crowd-tested and fan-approved!
For the last long-weekend of summer, this is the perfect appetizer - melty, ooey, gooey goodness! Enjoy!
