Fresh Strawberry Hibiscus Sauce

Sweet Strawberry Hibiscus Sauce. Summer perfection!

So incredibly easy to make, so incredibly fruity, fragrant and delicious! If you've ever tried it, you're already in love. If you've never had a chance, this is like liquid sunshine! I always wait until the summer strawberries are at their peak of sweetness and perfectly ripe. This is SOOOO GOOD drizzled on top of Strawberry & Hibiscus Cheesecake, on a scoop of fresh strawberry or vanilla ice cream, as a base for the most perfect strawberry shortcake, or the perfect start to dazzling Strawberry Hibiscus Iced Tea or lemonade.

Sweet Strawberry Hibiscus Sauce

We start with a STRONG half cup of fresh hibiscus tea. If you've never tried this before, it will be your new favorite! There are plenty of varieties out there - pick the one that sings to you! It is a PERFECT compliment to strawberries and raspberries!

We'll add beautiful, sweet ripe strawberries next...

The littlest bit of sugar, lime juice and zest, and before you know it, you'll be anxiously waiting for this ruby-red and perfectly flavored sauce to cool down! If you have the patience for it, you can cook it just a little bit longer and have yourself some wonderful STRAWBERRY HIBISCUS JAM!
