After the dark and dreary doldrums of winter, we all get excited for light, fluffy pops of pastel colors and sunshine! These little treats are SO easy to make, and a kid-favorite around here! The little ones are especially excited to help make these, and with only three or four ingredients, these are a breeze to whip up. I usually use pure white candy melts, as they have a "pure" white color to them. You can also use white chocolate chips if that is what you have on hand - just add a tablespoon of shortening when you are melting white chocolate chips. Around this time of year you can easily find Sixlet Candies in sweet springtime colors - aren't they just fabulous? You can also use pastel colored M&M's, or your favorite springtime candy decorations. Part of the magic is making these your own creation. Have some fun - and hope that you enjoy these as much as we do!
