Oh yes, I did! Decadent dark chocolate, loaded with dark chocolate chips, slathered with thick and luscious salted caramel and topped with small salty pretzels. PERFECTION!
Earlier this week I whipped up some fresh Salted Caramel Sauce, and have been trying to figure out the perfect way to share it since then!
Start with basic dark and chewy chocolate brownies - load 'em up with dark chocolate chips or chunks. These are good enough to eat all alone...unadorned and simple pure chocolate goodness!
But why stop there? A rich and melt-in-your-mouth ganache? Fluffy and airy marshmallow and drizzle with something good.....or just skip right to that beautiful jar of Salted Caramel Sauce waiting in the fridge!
Warm up the Salted Caramel Sauce. Next step, pour a nice thick layer of dark amber caramel, and sprinkle with salted pretzels - the perfect balance of sweet and salty.
Throw in a birthday, and a reason to celebrate! ENJOY! This one is on me!
