Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Banana Bread

So this morning I had to make an early-morning run to the grocery store, and there were BAGS of beautiful, ripe bananas just waiting for me!

With school starting this week, I like to have some breads, muffins and other quick breakfasts ready to grab and go.

And I can never go wrong with banana bread - in any way, shape or form with my group! Our basic family favorite Banana Bread, Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips, Banana Bread with Strawberries, or even Raspberry Banana Bread - but JUMP BACK! How about taking that Raspberry Banana Bread and bringing it to the next level - DARK CHOCOLATE & RASPBERRY BANANA BREAD...simple to die for!

And so the banana bread bake-off began! Lucky that I have multiple ovens and can get multiple batches baking at the same time!

It smelled so good in the kitchen - everyone came running!

Banana Bread with Raspberries & Dark Chocolate

I really was a crazy mama and went a little overboard with the banana bread combinations, but I had more than enough ripe banana stock to get me across the finish line - and I have never heard any complaints other than "where is the rest of the banana bread?"

Dark chocolate and raspberries are the perfect combination, and when you add them to fresh banana bread, it takes everything to a whole new level!

And lucky me - there will even be a few loaves to bring to the office tomorrow. Everyone will be happy now!
