Yup, time to get the soup pan out and whip of some of her favorite! With six kiddos, picking up our favorite Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup is pretty pricey, but I've got the secret recipe for homemade that tastes EVEN BETTER! Sick kiddo tested, sick kiddo approved! A warm bowlful of this, and I even got a smile from her!  Homemade Broccoli Cheese Soup (Panera copycat version) Creamy and just loaded with wonderful flavor, everyone LOVES this copycat version! Even Skipper, who isn't crazy about broccoli, will eat a bowl or two of this and give me a thumb's up. This is SO EASY to make at home, and doesn't take hours of simmering. If you don't have fresh broccoli available, you can use frozen florets in a pinch. Make sure that you use freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese for maximum meltiness and creaminess - pre-packaged shredded cheeses have additives to keep them from clumping, which will cause your soup to separate and not be creamy at all - in which case you won't feel too good either! And don't forget the cream cheese - it adds so much silkiness to this soup. Serve with some warm crusty bread or savory crackers, and everyone will be feeling good about dinner tonight!
