My guys do like Breakfast Pizza - especially made with bacon and ham! This recipe is just so simple that you really don't need a recipe, but in the event you are looking for something for a lazy morning breakfast, this is a crowd-pleaser! The crust is tender Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls - after making this about a thousand times, I prefer the Grands Big & Buttery Crest Rolls or Big & Flaky Crescents, but you can also use a Crescent Dough Sheet. With the Grands Crescent rolls you have a little more dough to work with and it really bakes up so tender, buttery and flaky! Pre-bake the crust for five minutes and then top with your favorite ingredients - you can use ham, bacon or sausage to start with (or not, if you want yours meat-free). Sprinkle with a selection of your favorite cheeses - I usually use a combination of cheddar, Colby-jack and Swiss cheese. Top the cheese layer with a creamy egg and milk mixture, and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is golden and the eggs are set. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and chives, and breakfast is ready! This is so easy to make that the kids can make it themselves when they have friends over for a sleepover. Thru trial and error, we've also discovered that it is much easier to serve this if you line your baking pan with parchment paper, and then lift the edges to remove the Breakfast Pizza from the pan. Let it sit for just a minute to "set", cut and serve. Some Caramel Monkey Bread, and a selection of fresh juices and milk, and breakfast is ready to be enjoyed by everyone. Adam and Cole - this one is for you! Here's to lazy days and lots of Breakfast Pizza!
