We LOVE blueberries….big, fresh, juicy, sweet blueberries! And next to just rinsing them and eating fresh out of a bowl, these delicious fresh Blueberry Muffins are the next best thing! For a little something special, sprinkle with some sparkling sugar - SO GOOD! These wonderful muffins are better baked with fresh berries, but you can use frozen berries in a pinch. Beware though – frozen berries tend to bleed more and are not as flavorful. Allow an additional 10 minutes for baking if you used frozen berries. The sour cream and butter combine with the simplest of ingredients, and these are great warm from the oven, or baked the day before you plan to serve - so moist, and I swear they become even more flavorful!
