And if you time this perfectly, you'll be pulling this from the oven just as those big, plump blueberries are beginning to burst - and when you bite into this, those tender berries will just EXPLODE with wonderful blueberry flavor in your mouth!
Unlike some of the other breakfast casseroles that I make (including our favorite Caramel Pecan French Toast Casserole, Egg Ham & Cheese Strata or Eggs Benedict Overnight Casserole), this filling has cream cheese rather than half & half blended in with the eggs, to create the smoothest, creamiest custard you ever had!
A little warm fresh blueberry syrup on the side or a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and brunch is served!
