 One of my favorite things about football parties is all of the wonderful dips and snacks that we get to experiment with - both the long-time favorites, and those that are destined to become new favorites. And let me tell you, this new creation is one that hits the ball out of the ballpark! If you love pizza, if you love barbeque chicken, if you love everything bacon - you are going to go NUTS for this! One of our family favorites is Barbeque Chicken & Bacon Dip, and I've lost track of how many times I've made that thru the years. Just for something different, I decided to play around with the recipe to see if I could ramp it up even more. And this new recipe is a doozy! We've enjoyed it twice already, and I know that it will be on the menu for our Superbowl Party as well! Barbeque Chicken Bacon Pizza Dip may very well be the best dip I've ever had in my life!  Layer after layer of delicious flavor - piled thick and high in a large cast iron pan or your large casserole dish - big on flavor, big on size - perfect for a big crowd of hungry fans! A thick base of cream cheese whipped up light and fluffy with barbeque sauce, sour cream and ranch dressing, a little garlic and hot sauce - this is good all by itself! But after coating tender rotisserie chicken in barbeque sauce, and layering sharp cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese on top? It just keeps getting better! We love red onion with barbeque chicken pizza, so that's a natural addition. Add some thin slices of green pepper if you'd like. Drizzle with delicate ribbons of barbeque sauce, and bake it up until its hot and bubbly - only 20 minutes wait between you and a hot batch of this! Top with LOTS of fresh crumbled bacon and some sliced green onions, and you're ready for some wonderful dipping! Perfect with tortilla chips, hearty crackers or thick Frito corn chips, or even wedges of pita bread, or rolled in a tortilla....the possibilities are endless! And I've lost track of how many times someone has asked, "Mom, is there any more of that dip left? PLEASE SAY YES!" This is bound to become one of your favorite recipes too! Happy partying!
