 Bacon Cranberry Almond Cheese Ball This is the perfect appetizer for the holidays! Not does it taste amazing, but it looks so festive too! We love the combination of savory and sweet - smoked bacon, creamy gorgonzola cheese, sweet and tart dried cranberries and roasted almonds! And I hope you forgive me if I kinda make my cheese balls inside-out and naked!  Bacon Cranberry Almond Cheese Ball Yup, this is a naked cheese ball. And it does have it's own kind of magic! Why? Because we all know how sad a cheese ball looks after it's about half gone - the first at the table usually pick off all of the delicious toasty almonds, or fresh herbs, or whatever you happen roll it in. And it just looks so sad! And so I solved that problem! I just mix 'em right in with the cheese and bacon.  Bacon Cranberry Almond Cheese Ball And pretty or not, this is one of the tastiest cheese balls you will ever have! If you are one of the few people on the planet that don't like gorgonzola cheese, you can swap out white cheddar, feta or goat cheese. Whatever strikes your fancy, and your taste buds! And also magical, if you feel the need to re-shape your cheese ball, without all the "stuff" on the outside, it's easy enough to do!
