If you don't like peanut butter....or chocolate...or Reese's.....you may as well stop reading here! We take traditional Muddy Buddies to the next level with a coating of milk chocolate and peanut butter, and a sprinkling of bite-sized Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Reese's Pieces. This is really a great recipe to make with little ones - they can help with the measuring, the mixing, and the gentle shaking - and they will love sneaking pieces when you are not looking! Of course, the powdered sugar doesn't make these a "clean" treat for little fingers, but they sure do love them at my house! If you really want to load these up with even more peanut butter, you can also add additional salted peanuts and peanut butter chips to the mix. Go ahead - you know you want to try these! And it is darn impossible to stop with just a few - just be warned!
Hope that you enjoy them for your next event as much as we do!

Every now and then I forget about how wonderful meatballs are - and these lean and healthy Turkey Meatballs in Fresh Marinara Sauce are a family favorite!
Easy to make ahead of time in the slow cooker, and ready to serve later as an appetizer, with your favorite pasta, or as meatball sliders for a quick and delicious sandwich. Enjoy! Coming straight to you from the Cleveland Browns Dog Pound! Never was there a more perfect appetizer for Brown's fans, or peanut butter lovers! These smooth and creamy cheese ball is really more of a sweet appetizer. Whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter and sweet brown sugar create the creamy base, which is then rolled in milk chocolate and peanut butter chips for peanut butter measure.
You can serve with graham cracker sticks, teddy grahams, or apple slices, but at football games around here, Scooby Doo Graham Cracker Bones are the only way to go. Now....just to keep the real puppies from thinking these aren't puppy treats! There really aren't words to describe how wonderfully moist, fudgy and fresh this beauty tastes...pictures may be worth a million words, but one taste and you'll be in heaven! This is the kind of chocolate cake that dreams are made of - and my favorite recipe! Moist, flavorful chocolate cake, covered with creamy chocolate buttercream frosting, drizzled with a decadent dark chocolate ganache and then topped with fresh raspberries. With all of my chocolate lovers, this is a favorite for birthday celebrations! Could anything be more beautiful or delicious? My favorite candy is Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Squares with Raspberry Filling, and I was determined to try and create a special layer cake that would duplicate that wonderful flavor combination. This cake is moist, dense and very rich. Dark chocolate and raspberries just seem to be made for each other. The delicate flavor of the fruit is pulled into the truffle-like center, and beautiful fresh berries and dark chocolate curls garnish the top as well.
Happy Birthday Melissa! Now that the kids are back in school, I like to have fresh baked cookies waiting for them when they come home after a busy day - and they just LOVE these soft and chewy peanut butter cookies! You can load these up any way you like - Reese's Pieces, or Peanut Butter M&M's. You could also be radical and add peanut butter chips or chocolate chips to the mix - whatever strikes your fancy! Are your kids as picky about peanut butter as mine are? I don't know where they get it from, because I have always been a Skippy girl, but they have been on a Jif rampage and it is the only brand they want to eat now. Where and when does preference start coming into play with your kids? I am at a loss as to even what influences it. And I still buy Skippy! Same thing goes with peanut butter candies - some of my kids prefer Reese's Pieces, and other will pick Peanut Butter M&M's every time. But not matter what you like, these soft cookies are just loaded with peanut butter flavor and so nice and chewy.
Wouldn't you love to come home to a plate of these cookies, fresh and warm from the oven, soft and chewy....and a tall glass of milk? Hope that you enjoy as much as we do! |
