April Showers are always better than April Snowstorms! What more can I say? We keep hoping that winter and snow are in the past, but they keep creeping back in! We're ready for Spring, for sunny days, for flowers bursting into bloom, and especially for the delightful hues of Spring. The pastel pinks, yellows, mint green, robin egg blue and pale lavender...bring it on! ![]() These wonderful soft and chewy cookies are especially pretty in the Spring, but you can make them with the special holiday M&M's that seem to appear with every holiday now! Mix and match to your hearts content - these chewy, flavorful cookies won't last long. When you are making homemade cookies, it is always best to start with butter and eggs that have been brought to room temperature. Add a touch of cornstarch and you'll have puffy, fluffy cookies that don't spread quite so much on your baking pans. Now, all I need is a cold glass of milk and another cookie!
