I love it because I can make it the night before, and bake it up quick in the morning. Serve with some fresh fruit and pastries, with some coffee and mimosas, and you’ve got a party!
You can use your favorite hearty bread, or croissants if you want a lighter and flakier texture. The creamy egg custard bakes down around the toasted bread and is loaded with chunks of tender brown-sugar ham, and melted cheese on the top makes for a real crowd pleaser.
