Last weekend I once again had a chance to enjoy a piece of White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes - and I remembered just how much we LOVE this cake! If you've ever had a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, you'll know just how amazing these are, and why these are so popular. But at more than $40.00 for a 10-inch bundt cake, these are a pricey little treat. Good thing this Mama has a copycat recipe up her sleeve that my family and friends love more than the original! In a side-by-side taste test, my recipe is the favorite! Scrumptious rich white chocolate cake layered with swirls of deep crimson raspberry puree - fluffy, moist and SO GOOD - it's bundt cake perfection!
When I tell you that this cake is simple and easy to make, I'm not kidding. Our five-year-old little guy helped me put this one together and we had so much fun! Measuring and chopping, pouring and swirling - he just loved watching the cake bake through the oven window as well. By the time it was cool enough for us to drizzle thick ribbons of perfect Cream Cheese Frosting over the sides and sprinkle some fresh raspberries on top, he was to the moon! My family has dubbed my copycat recipe for Crumbl Chocolate Frosted Lucky Charm Cookies as "Better Than Crumbl Chocolate Cake Cookies"—and trust me, they’re spot on! These cookies are pure chocolate bliss: a soft, chewy base bursting with deep cocoa flavor and studded with luscious chocolate chips, crowned by a generous swirl of velvety Chocolate Fudge Frosting and sprinkled with our favorite Chocolate Lucky Charms cereal. With no chilling required, they’re quick to whip up and perfect for everything from holiday celebrations to everyday indulgences. One bite, and they’ll have everyone coming back for more!
ST. PATRICK'S DAY CHARCUTERIE BOARDSláinte! Today it's all about the green! We LOVE to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, and with so many favorite recipes, it's a tradition that we enjoy all month long! Planning a St. Patrick's Day party is so easy and fun with these family-favorite recipes. Tried and true favorites, and a few new ones thrown in too! We have so many favorites - it's hard to pick just a few! Good thing we've got a long month to enjoy them all! ST. With a sweet and savory glaze, this rich and flavorful Corned Beef with Apricot Dijon Glaze is so easy to make! My secret? Tender corned beef is simmered in ginger ale before cooking to remove the excess saltiness, and then slowly simmered in Guinness Stout, more ginger ale and tender onions and spices to create the most flavorful corned beef ever. So moist and tender that it just pulls apart with your fork. Perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration or a cold winter night!
MARDI GRAS CHARCUTERIE BOARDBeads and bling, it’s a Mardi Gras thing! As part of our New Orleans’ Mardi Gras celebration, there’s nothing more fun than a Mardi Gras Charcuterie Board – easily customized with cheese, meats, fruits, and always some sweets and treats! Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler – “Let the good times roll KING CAKE (Cinnamon Swirled Bundt Cake)This old-fashioned sweet cinnamon swirled bundt cake is my twist on King Cake. Cinnamon and brown sugar cake is marbled with a buttery yellow cake in this easy recipe, drizzled with cream cheese glaze in traditional purple, green and gold Mardi Gras colors, and topped with sprinkles for some special Mardi Gras fun! My family prefers this tender and moist King Cake to the more traditional bread-like King Cake. While a "traditional" King Cake is made from twisted strands of cinnamon dough, covered with icing, and sprinkled with purple, green and gold colored sugar, my King Cake is truly a richer and tender coffeecake. So flavorful, moist, and loaded with cinnamon and brown sugar flavor, it will be your new favorite too! MARDI GRAS SUGAR COOKIESFat Tuesday wouldn't be a celebration without some fun and festive sugar cookies! These Mardi Gras Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing are my go-to recipe for the softest, thickest and creamiest sugar cookies and the easiest Royal Icing. The dough is easy to roll out and work with, holds its shape and edges, and has a wonderful surface for fun decorating. Perfectly simple and wonderful! MINI-KING CAKESOne of the wonderful traditions of Mardi Gras, and probably the most delicious, is the King Cake. These old-fashioned sweet cinnamon swirled Mini King Cakes are my twist on traditional King Cake. Cinnamon and brown sugar cake is marbled with a buttery yellow cake in this easy recipe, drizzled with cream cheese glaze in traditional purple, green and gold Mardi Gras colors and topped with gold coin sprinkles for some special Mardi Gras fun!
My family prefers this tender and moist King Cake to the more traditional bread-like King Cake. And it’s so much fun when everyone finds a baby tucked in their individual cakelet for good luck! We love these extra saucy Asian-inspired Ginger Soy Noodles with bell peppers, sweet onions, and edamame, and an addicting sweet and spicy ginger and soy sauce. This healthy, vegetarian and gluten-free dinner is easy to make and ready in less than 15 minutes – these are a family favorite every time I make them and great for leftovers!
