My little ones just love it when we have a "backward day" - which basically means that I'm making them breakfast for dinner! And when I tell them that it's okay to eat their dinner with their little hands? LOTS of smiles! Even better!
I've always been told that the best way to know if a pancake recipe is good is if it tastes good all by itself - no syrup, no fruit, no nothing. And sprinkled with a light dusting of powdered sugar, these delightful little Snowflake Pancakes are perfection!
Slightly bigger than silver dollar pancakes, and sky-high, they are fluffy, flavorful and full of the most tender texture ever!
I love using my Nordic Ware Snowflake Griddle, but you can also use snowflake cookie cutters if you don't want to use a special pan. Spray the griddle or inside of the cookie cutters with non-stick cooking spray, and you can go to town with snowflake after snowflake!
These cook and stack up higher than you can imagine - the shape of the snowflake griddle or cookie cutters helps to prevent spreading, and the little snowflakes just burst straight up - tender and golden!
Some tasty turkey bacon and a big glass of orange juice, and dinner OR breakfast is served!
Perfect for a snowy day, or just for fun! Hope that you enjoy these as much as we do!
