The bacon, garlic and onions roast just as the Brussels sprouts do, and everything will be nice and crispy by the end of cooking time. Roast until the edges turn golden brown and crispy, and then sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese. YUM!
I've provided cooking school directions for both roasting and stove top preparation. These are also easy to prepare on your grill if you have a nice grill pan and want a little smokey flavor! If you prefer your sprouts with simple seasoning, you can certainly leave out the bacon or garlic - but why not live on the edge?
