It's going to be a long weekend of family favorites! Lots of fun and activities - at home, at the cabin, and on the boats, and lots of meals and snacks to make for the crowd. I'm never quite sure exactly HOW many people will be with us on holiday weekends, as the crowd comes and goes, but I do know that these are a favorite!!
Every time that we make theses delicious sliders, they are DEVOURED! Perfect with leftover ham or turkey...and perfect on Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls. And these become true Hawaiian Sliders when you add a slice of fresh pineapple to the stack!
You can heat them up over a campfire, in the oven, or even a toaster oven. My brother Tom makes these on larger buns, wraps each sandwich individually in foil, loads them into a heavy paper grocery bag, gives the outside of the paper bag a quick rinse with cold water, and heats the entire bag up in the oven for a crowd. Ready in less than 20 minutes!
And for that Hawaiian Slider, add a slice of pineapple to the stack - OH SO GOOD!
Hope that you enjoy as much as we do!
