Fresh salmon is so easy to cook with in a cabin...or at home!
One of our favorite dinners at the Gunflint Lodge is Salmon Fillet Princesse - or Fresh Salmon with Asparagus Cream Sauce. This is a favorite of both Skipper and myself, and during our Amish Country cabin getaway, it was the perfect time to make this special dinner for my guy.
So good with both fresh salmon and the earliest tender asparagus in the spring!
A fresh salad, some fresh hearty Amish bread, fresh spring asparagus from the farm stand and we had a wonderful dinner waiting for us in no time!
It was such a nice night that we were able to sit out on the porch swing and enjoy our dinner with a nice bottle of champagne, a roaring fireplace, and total peace and quiet...
